Aboriginal Justice Workers complete training to help address domestic violence among offenders

More than two dozen Aboriginal Justice Workers from throughout B.C. and Canada’s North recently completed an intensive eight-day training session learning how to facilitate the Respectful Relationships Program that aims to address domestic violence among offenders.

The intensive eight-day program held at the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s (JIBC) New Westminster campus was sponsored by BC Corrections in partnership with the Federal Department of Justice under the auspices of the Aboriginal Justice Strategy.
